Symptoms


PMF SS7 does not capture data on all links.


linkDisp do not show all links.


Changes


System was upgraded to PIC 10.1.5 (PMF 10.1.5.0.0-9.1.0).


Cause


This is caused by limitation implemented for IMF and PMF to improve performances.


This is applicable to SS7 PMF only.


Solution


Raise a SR mentioning this document reference.




Procedure:


    

  1. Connect on PMF as cfguser.
    2. 

  2. Edit table "PartDef":

    ivi PartDef
    

    3. 

  3. Modify line "34|MsuPart|Log|ABC|50|-1|212|12 ... " to " 34|MsuPart|Log|ABC|512|-1|212|12 ... ".
    4. 

  4. Save the table (:x!) and enter "yes" when prompted to reload the table.
    5. 

  5. Stop probeMonitor:

    pm.set off probeMonitor
    

    6. 

  6. Start probeMonitor:

    pm.set on probeMonitor
    

    7.
