Symptoms

VTS fails with exit code 93 during FPU or IU tests within 24 hours:

09/09/15 04:21:52 BOS-T5-2 SunVTS7.0ps19.2: VTSID 6427 vtsk.ERROR : Processor.fputest.0[FPU] (pid=17717) exited with exit code: 93 during task 808406.

Cause

Hardware Management Pack (HMP) interfered with VTS, by consuming processes.

Solution

The solution is to upgrade HMP to revision 2.3.2.4 at a minimum.

This problem can also be resolved by disabling the HMP service:

svcadm disable svc:/system/sp/management:default
svcadm refresh svc:/system/sp/management:default
svcs -l svc:/system/sp/management:default
