Symptoms

Can add LDAP user to appliance, but cannot login. Able to look up user with getent or ldaplist.

Cause

Bug 20440210 - akd doesn't pick up LDAP changes; BUI login fails

Solution

If you are certain that all settings are correct, and have verified that the user lookup successfully returns data from the LDAP database, a restart of the appliance may resolve the issue.
