Symptoms

 When running the fwupdate command the following messages are displayed

$ fwupdate list all
Get Device ID command failed: Unknown (0x7E)
Get Device ID command failed: Unknown (0x7E)

Cause

This message is displayed because the Hardware Maintenance Pack cannot connect XCP.

Solution

Since updating the XCP firmware is not a supported Hardware Maintenance Pack function on this platform, this message can be ignored.
