Applies to:

Oracle Communications Performance Intelligence Center (PIC) Software - Version 7.1.2 to 9.0.4 [Release 7.0 to 9.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Script updateStaticEnrichmentFse.sh used to force update of static enrichment files based on data contained in reference data is not updating static enrichment files.

Following error may be seen in the script output during execution:

[java] javax.naming.AuthenticationException [Root exception is java.lang.SecurityException: User: tekelec, failed to be authenticated.]

Cause

During execution of script, it uses passwords of both OS tekelec user and NSP tekelec user. Password for OS tekelec is requested at the beginning of script execution. Default password for NSP tekelec user is hardcoded in the script.

In case NSP tekelec user password was changed or user is locked, script execution will fail with the error above.

Solution

Change NSP tekelec user password to the default one and unlock user if required.
