Symptoms

Unable to access web site https://crcapplications.us.oracle.com/keyswebapp/ for licenses or one time passwords.

Cause

Issue found when Firefox version 38.2.x is installed

Solution

A work around is available:

Process will vary with release version of Firefox.

With version 38.2.1, Go to the address line and type: about:config

You may get a warning message and click OK.

In the Search field type: tls go down to entry - security.tls.insecure_fallback_hosts.  It will likely say default and blank following it.

Right click mouse - Use the option 'MODIFY', copy your data string in... (see the one we used below) or the string of your choice if different needed.  When done, the entry security.tls.insecure_fallback_hosts. will change to user set from default and the data string will follow .

To exit, go to top of page and right arrow out of about: config page.

Close Firefox and reopen fresh page - Go back to about.config. and verify that the change took then exit the page again.

At that point the password/license page should be working again.

For example only edited line *** security.tls.insecure_fallback_hosts. user set string systemspsd.us.oracle.com,crcapplications.us.oracle.com ***

In Firefox: Go to the address line and type: about:config

You may get a warning message, click OK. In the Search field type tls

You will see an entry called security.tls.insecure_fallback_hosts.

Click on that entry and add your site to the list (comma separated). For example: systemspsd.us.oracle.com,crcapplications.us.oracle.com,webex.oraclecorp.com
