Symptoms

After Array Power cycle or unexpected power event or power down for maintenance the array boots but a pool is not available and is shown as faulted.

 

Changes

Because of the power event, one or more logzilla drives have become faulted.

 

Cause

Log drive(s) (logzillas) do not come up after a power cycle.

Solution

Oracle support will need to be contacted in order to resolve this issue.

The pool will have to have the log drives removed to correct the issue and then the replacement drives will have to be re-added to the pool when replaced.
