The issue is only seen with SanDisk 1.6TB SSD Drives in an FS1-2 Flash Storage System in a clustered environment under a heavy load. Changes
CauseThe SanDisk 1.6TB SSD Drive is a dual ported device. Typically IO comes down one path but in a clustered environment with a heavy load, both ports will be active and can be over-run. This can either cause the SSD Drive to go offline or to be failed. SolutionThe problem is fixed in drive firmware version A318. This drive firmware is part of the R6,2.9 (or later) version of the FS1-2 software. Updating drive firmware is a disruptive upgrade which requires an outage.
