New SL3000 installation firmware 4.31 (7.33 00). 8 T10000D + 2 HP LTO5 FC Moved 2 HP LTO5 from an existing SL8500 in the new library using new trays for SL3000 but they are not powered up. The library see the drives but it says not powered (yellow icon on SLC) (SL Console) Tested the drive outside the library via FC with magma and LTT (Library Tape Tool) drive tool and all is fine. Also upgraded the drive fw to last level: I6BS. The tray part number arrived for installation is 7087078. SymptomsLTO Drives Not Powering Up After Conversion From Sl8500. The library see the drives but it says not powered on. (Yellow ICON on SLConsole). ChangesLTO drives moved from SL8500 to SL3000. CauseConversion Bill instructions not followed correctly. SolutionThe new SL3000 drive trays do not contain the power supply.
