Symptoms

In Exalogic racks (both Physical and Virtual) when executing Exachk issue of Exachk hanging and not completing or failing to connect to particular/few Exalogic nodes is observed.

Following are the error messages observed when executing the Exachk at the time of the issue.

Cause

This issue happens due to DNS problems
 

Solution

The cause for this issue is DNS. Please check if the DNS servers are responding and fix the DNS issues if any.
