RE = Redundant Electronics

Symptoms

RE Kits are Missing the "Y" Power Cables.

Cause

Manufacturing packing issue.

Solution

The Redundant Electronics kits for the SL8500 are missing the "Y" IEC320 power cables, PN 7015412. All current stock has this issue. Please check your kit as soon as it arrives and check if it contains 2 of these cables. If not, send an email to phil.garcia@oracle.com and richard.kent@oracle.com to obtain the cables. In the near future we will be able to order these cables from the system.

While waiting for the cable, you can connect one PUE switch to the PDU1 feed and the other switch to the PDU2 feed for testing with the straight cables that are provided in the kit.
