Symptoms

Snapshot fail to gather complete 'hw version' output following a timeout on data capture, as reported once snapshot is complete;

Cause

Time to gather 'hw version' output exceeds the default 15s timeout for snapshot.

When a command exceeds the timeout specified by snapshot the data collection will be terminated to allow the remaining scripts to run.

Solution

The timeout value for 'hw version' is increased to 180s in SysFW 9.4.2.c;

cmd i,180,y,n ilom/ /usr/local/bin/hw version -local
