Symptoms

When a drive (T10KC) is in hibernate mode, the MIB variable slDriveState returns "unknown" for that drive. In SLC it shows as hibernating.  
The information displayed in SLC and returned via SNMP is inconsistent.

Cause

Latest SNMP manual says currently 12 status are available for drives.  No Hibernating state is seen at this time.   Required to open RFE (Request For Enhancement) to engineering.

Status of drive (unknown=0, initializing=1, empty=2, cartridge present=3, loading=4, loaded=5, cleaning=6, rewinding=7, unloading=8, inoperative=9, not loadable=10, not unloadable=11)

Solution

Created BugDB 21229416  SNMP REPORTS HIBERNATING DRIVE STATE AS UNKNOWN

Fixed->FRS_8.59E which is actually in 8.60 code forecast Nov 2017.
