There was a problem where slitter debris was getting into the tape pack at the tape vender which can cause this problem. Any failed 36BA tape will be replaced by the media vender as they are found. KB Link: 2016730.1 Symptoms36BA perm errors. CauseMedia manufacturing issue. SolutionThere was an issue with certain media where they have debris leftover in them from the manufacturing process that results in 36BA write perm errors.
