Component code load attempted

Symptoms

Sun StorageTek SL-series Modular Library System

FSC(3405): Download file write failed.

3405 - 0000 Download file write failed : retrying with DCI, Exception=scp command failed  SCP command gave bad exit value.

A component in the library has failed and attempted a code load.

Changes

None

Cause

Component failures that attempt to perform a code load see the code load fail as a result of the failed component.  This generates the file download failure messaging  The failed component could be the robot, a ptp, an elevator, or any device within the library that has failed, and attempted to perform a code load.

Solution

Review the log snapshot output to identify what device has failure messages and corresponding code load failures during the same timeframe.  FE onsite visit required to inspect, reboot, and if necessary replace the failed component.
