However reseating the PSU, replacing the PSU and checking the cables/sockets doesn't fix the problem. Firmware version was pretty recent, discarding possible firmware issues.

The power supply itself shows as fine:

No service LEDs are on:

Cause

The rail screws may be too long and pinning one of the power supply into the bay (the power supply affected by the screws may not be the one reporting the disabled sensors). This can cause that the power supply doesn't properly seat and causes one of the power supplies to have all its sensors flagged as disabled.

Solution

Changing the rail screws to smaller screws or loosening them up a bit will make sure the power supply is attached properly and return the sensors to working order.

Field engineer comments: Replaced ps1, but that did not fix it. I had the customer power down the OS and than I tried to swap the power supplies, but I was unable to. I unracked the server and loosened the rail screws and I was able to take ps0 out. The customer was using screws that were too long and they were pinning the power supply into the bay.
