Symptoms

After an Appliance Firmware Release upgrade to the latest version, the system unable to upgrade the 3 HP shelves firmware as both heads complains that they are not the owner of these shelves.

Cause

There was no pool configured on these 3 trays so the IOM's did not get updated.

Solution

Created a pool and stopped and re-started AKD - this did not get the IOM's to upgrade either so we had to do it manually.

Once the firmware on one of the IOMs was manually upgraded ... the rest started upgrading by themselves...
