Symptoms

 'oakcli show memory ' does not show information about memory. 

  

root@sbhlloda001 /]# oakcli show memory

       NAME    HEALTH HEALTH_DETAILS PART_NO.         SERIAL_NO.         LOCATION MANUFACTURER MEMORY_SIZE CURR_CLK_SPEED ECC_Errors

  

the output of oakcli show memory lacks information on DIMM Modules, just the headline is displayed

Cause

 This is due to Unpublished Bug 20137268 - lnx64-121-cmt:oakcli show memory showed nothing about memory.

Issue is noticed on X3, X4, X5 platforms after patching/upgrade of ILOM.

Solution

Issue is likely to be fixed in future ODA (Oracle Database Appliance) release. 

Available Work Around:

---------------

 - reset the ILOM -  Log into the ILOM and issue the following command: reset /SP

 - reboot the server
