Symptoms

Unable to mount shares over Infiniband

Cause

The Infiniband switch port was enabled with autodisable on errors, which caused the port to disable from switch side.

This caused the link down on the ZFS appliance.

Solution

Log onto the Infiniband switch.

Enable the failed port. The link status should come back online for the ZFS appliance.

Some of the commands used to diagnose the issue

# dladm show-ib

# ibstat

# ibnetdiscover
