Symptoms

 The SL150 cannot initialize with below error:

*** ERROR IN LOADING FIRMWARE ***

The following User Interface file: fusion.tar.gz is corrupt Initialization cannot continue and the library is inoperative to Repair, the Robot Unit must be replaced.

 

Op Panel reports the following:

ERROR IN LOADING FIRMWARE


Changes

 Customer powered off the SL150, then powered on

Cause

 Robot Dead on Arrival (DOA)

Solution

1. Follow the error messages and replace the SL150 Robot

2. Error messages 9104 and 9144 issued after replacement of new robot

FE performed below actions at site:

a. Removed and inserted the robot again.
b. Remove all the magazines from module 2 and inspect the movement of the robot during initialisation.
c. Checked for module alignment.

3. Suspected robot DOA due to error 9104 (also a Base Chassis is another suspect part with error 9144)

4. The SL150 OK after replacement of second robot;

 

Conclusion first robot is DOA.
