In this Document
Created from <SR 3-10148353101> Applies to:Acme Packet 4500 - Version S-Cz7.2.0 and laterAcme Packet 3820 - Version S-Cz7.1.5 and later Information in this document applies to any platform. SymptomsAfter upgrading a SBC (3820 or 4500 device) to SCx720 from SCx637, the health score of the SBC device decreased to zero, triggering a critical alarm regarding DSP temperature.
Temperature Sensor PHY TCM1 is at 80.000 degrees C, over critical threshold of 80.000
CauseThe SBC was using NIU cards with DSPs for transcoding, a more powerful fan module is required. SolutionThe SBC (3820 or 4500) was using an older fan module with part number 110-0100-60.
Note: The part number can only be seen on the fan module itself and is not viewable via software. To resolve this alarm, a more powerful fan module is required in order to use SCx720 and above.
