Message displayed in Service Bundle - 9042 EXP_CNTRL_COMM_FAILURE Module 2 InterconnectCableModule 2 Controller Check inter-connect cable. Replace controller

Changes

None

Cause

KLM module controller failure.

There is also a high probablity that this could be a USB cable failure. Please test the USB cable first.

Solution

Replace the Base Module KLM FRU (please note, this is a FRU not a CRU so requires FE intervention).
