Symptoms

Error below displayed when connect to the server by ssh

root password:
Last login: Mon Feb 2 13:05:22 2015 from ntpserver1
The IPM FAILED on this server. Run verifyIPM for details.

 Run the below command to check integrity

 [root@ServerNalme ~]# verifyIPM
/usr/TKLC/plat/bin/verifyInstallLog indicates there was an installation error.

 

Cause

check /root/install.log


end of install log:

Installing usbutils-0.71-2.1.i386
Installing TKLCsnmptrap-4.1.8-5.0.0_72.5.0.noarch

Solution

Workaround : replace install.log file from another server ( same server function without the error )
