Symptoms

EMS system is not working

Cause

Alarms are not being received on EMS

Solution

Parse processes not running on server.

Check using command 'vp parse' there should be a parse process for each EMSALM terminal connected to the EMS server.
Restart Netboss system to restart Parse processes.
Command from user 'root
/etc/init.d/netboss stop
Wait for approx. 3 minutes to confirm all processes have stopped
Restart netboss processes
/etc/init.d/netboss start
