Applies to:

Oracle Communications Performance Intelligence Center (PIC) Software - Version 7.5 and later
Tekelec

Symptoms

Input MSUs traffic decreased for several Data Flow Processing (DFP).

Changes

Cause

"pmia" processes filters traffic. As per the pmia Counters verifications (command: 'cfgPmia pmiaCounters' to display these counters), the socket 254 drops all packets. This makes the traffic decreasing, with loss of data.

Solution

The best action is to disable "SigtranMonitor" (put the value at 0) on the PMF "Settings" (from CCM, right click on the PMF).
