Symptoms

When the AEM CAP ( Operator Request ) button is pressed the wait light blinks and continues to blink.

You will see the following message in the log snapshot error summary.

Cause

There could be 2 causes of this error. The AEM door latch is defective or the drive motor assembly safety door (AEM) could be defective.
