Applies to:

Oracle Communications Subscriber Data Management (SDM) - Version SDM 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

DAS (Data Access Server ) service going out of service daily, generating some coredumps frequently.

Cause

When attempting to delete a pdpcontext from a subscriber profile, code was doing a select in a table. Such select was not delimited properly, leading to dump a huge amount of data that when the table is too big. This causes the total memory consumption and it leads to service going into an out of service state.

Solution

Home Location Register (HLR) BlueVersion 9.2.6 had the problem.

The code was changed so there are some proper limits to output the data and avoid the usage of all memory  by DAS.

BlueVersion 9.2.6 Patch2 is the permanent solution.
