Pillar Axiom 600 Storage System - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

This event will occur when a specified Brick RAID controller is not accessible.

This is an ASR event and will look like this when the event is detected and phones home:

PSG_PI_EVENT_BRIX_NODE_LU_INACCESSIBLE

Cause

These events are typically caused by maintenance activities and accompanied by other actionable events.

Solution

To ensure no further action is needed, please check the following:

  1. Check hardware status in the GUI.
    1. Log into the Storage Services Manager
    2. At the bottom left of the screen, there is a "System Status" led.  If it is green the system is functioning normally.  If it is yellow the system is in a warning state.  If it is red, one or more components in the system is in a critical state.
    3. The next icon to the right shows any Administrator Actions.  Review the Administrator Actions to ensure no actions are required.
  2. Check the brick RAID controller fault LEDs. They are located on the rear of the brick on the power supply above the power switch.
  3. If this was due to a maintenance activity, this can be safely ignored.

If you need assistance, please update your service request (SR) and it will be routed to the next available engineer.  If no assistance is needed and no updates made to your SR, your SR will remain open for 14 days and then will auto-close.
