Solution 1951952.1 : BSSAP and RAN Builders Configuration

Symptoms

All the BSSAP xDR are not correlated. The xDR status could be Not Match or Timer status.
The RAN CC and MM have also bad correlation.

Cause

The BSSAP and RAN Builders are enable on a DFP.
The BSCs manage at the same time 2G and 3G traffic.

Solution

Configure the SCCP intermediate builder for all the DFPs like on the screen copy for example. The operation has to be done on NSP CCM Application.

The 2G Point Codes muist be included in the traffic sent to the BSSAP builder. Same Point Codes must be excluded from the traffic sent to the RANAP builders.

With ProTrace it is possible to identify the 2G and 3G Point Codes:

2G Point Codes have the protocol field = BSSAP
3G Point Codes have the protocol field = UMTS
