StorageTek SL150 Modular Tape Library - Version All Versions and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
SL150
2.25

Symptoms

Library uncommunicative. Nothing on the screen. Power button is not lit. No reaction to power on reset other than slow flashing on LEDs on PSUs in base.

Factory reset obviously was not an option as there was no power.

Changes

 New installation.

Cause

Failed robot module

Solution

The PSUs were replaced and the front panel (as there was seemingly no power to the power on button) but this did not work.

Reseated all modules to no avail.

Replaced robot module and the PSUs flashed twice and the library came up normally.
