Symptoms

On Pillar Axiom release v5.4.15 and v5.4.16 the Windows AxiomCLI utility stops working producing the following compilation error message when logging into the Axiom:

Can't locate Params/Validate.pm in @INC
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at Log/Dispatch/Output.pm line 13.
Compilation failed in require at Log/Dispatch/FileRotate.pm line 10.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at Log/Dispatch/FileRotate.pm line 10.
Compilation failed in require at AXCLILogger.pm line 40.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at AXCLILogger.pm line 40.
Compilation failed in require at ErrorHandler.pm line 35.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ErrorHandler.pm line 35.

Cause

The issue is caused from a missing package at the time the AxiomCLI utility was built.

Solution

The issue has been fixed in release v5.4.17. Please upgrade the Axiom to obtain the software fix. The alternative solution is to use the version of the AxiomCli utility for Windows v5.4.14 attached to the document below.
