Symptoms

To enable ADI, FE rebooted the SL8500 and then rebooted all HP LTO5s via SLConsole.

All HP LTO5s had following errors and went down.

Changes

 Rebooted the HP LTO5s via SLConsole.

Cause

Bug 18441278 : HP LTO5 DRIVES REBOOTED IN SL8500 VIA SLC ARE TAKEN OFFLINE

Solution

It's caused by bug of firmware 8.35.

It's fixed at firmware 8.36.

Refer to the release note of FRS_8.36

Bug Fixes
-  Reboot of HP LTO5 drives via SLC are now successful.
