Created from <SR 3-9809114081> Applies to:Sun ZFS Storage 7320 - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases]Oracle ZFS Storage ZS3-4 - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases] Sun ZFS Storage 7420 - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases] Sun ZFS Storage 7120 - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases] Oracle ZFS Storage ZS3-2 - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases] 7000 Appliance OS (Fishworks) SymptomsWhen attempting to change an IPMP group cluster resource from singleton to a private resource, the 'lock' icon is observed to be greyed out.
CauseThe method for creating a private IPMP interface has changed in 2013.1.x releases.
SolutionIn 2013.1.x releases, the IPMP group resource type is set only at creation, and is determined by the type of underlying links from which it is composed. To create a private IPMP group you must do so using all private IP interfaces and your cluster node must be the owner of these interfaces. i.e. The IPMP interface is private, if the links it is created from are also private.
