Solution Type Problem Resolution Sure Solution 1938701.1 : PMF Does Not Send Data After Modifying Filters
PMIA filter compilation issue In this Document
Created from <SR 3-9780825351> Applies to:Oracle Communications Performance Intelligence Center (PIC) Software - Version 9.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform. SymptomsPMF is not sending data. Output of routeDisp command is showing routes, but there is no flow of data on all of them. Additionally, error like below is present in pmiaMonitor log: 1024:081230.061 TR-V compile PMIA with 28 filters [26540/ExpertFileCreator.C:274]
1024:081230.459 TR-V compile failure for 28 filter(s) [26540/ExpertFileCreator.C:281] 1024:081230.459 TR-V The compile of filters failed [26540/main.C:25] Also, /tmp/pmiaCompiler.log will have error like: ERROR:syntax error
error during parsing of line (ip) and ((src host 1.1.1.1/28 or src host 2.2.2.2/28) or (dst net 1.1.1.1/28 or dst net 2.2.2.2/28)) Compiler build error! CausePMF is not able to process data because of an issue in PMF PMIA filter compilation, which is caused by wrong filter. In this example wrong parts are "src host 1.1.1.1/28" and "src host 2.2.2.2/28", because networks (/28) are defined as "host", thus causing compilation error. SolutionFollowing steps need to be performed to resolve the issue:
