Symptoms

One IPSG card was having a loss of heartbeat alarm: 

  0581 * CARD 1111 IPSG Loss of Heartbeat

    ALARM STATUS = No Alarms.
    FCS IP PORT B1:        IS-NR        Active     -----     
    ALARM STATUS = No Alarms.

Cause

This is a sync issue with the IMF product

Solution

The card has to be rebooted to clear the alarm.

Here, as the system was upgraded the Eagle from R42 to R44,  the card could resync with the IMF during the upgrade procedure and the alarm cleared.
