Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

SL150 do not configure management network(Network Port 1) into subnet: 192.168.10.x.
As this overlaps with Network Port 2 default and hard coded IP: 192.168.10.10/24

You will end up in a situation where port 1 will respond to 192.168.10.10 and port 2 will not. Also other odd behavior might appear.

Changes

In case you don't have port 2 enabled, this is probably not an issue, but to avoid problems, do not use 192.168.10.x IP range with port 1.

Cause

This is related to the HW design of the SL150 network ports and cannot be changed.

Solution

Change network port1 IP address to something else than 192.168.10.x
