Symptoms

 1. We have noticed that in the measurement files, the statistics for deleted associations are still showing:

2. Additionally, the information for the other associations is being marked as "I" instead of "K".

Cause

1. Title: Associations deleted from system in past still appear in the comp-sctpasoc Comma Separated Values (CSV) reports

PR: 231613 (BUG 19106690)

Each 30 minutes interval, Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) associations measurements are written to disk using an index.

- This index is not sequential so the entries are scattered throughout the table, anywhere from 0 to the total number of valid SCTP associations entities.
- The set of measurements that were collected 24 hours ago still exists in the meas table (on the disk).

The reporting algorithm simply searches for non-zero timestamps from 0 to the total number of valid SCTP associations entities.

  - If the association is still provisioned, the new data will overwrite the old data because the index will remain the same.
  - If an entry has been deleted, nothing will be written at that index, leaving the old entry intact.

Even though the timestamp has expired, it is non-zero and thus picked up by the reporting function.
 

2. The associations measurement reports with E5-OAM Integrated Measurements shows Incomplete (I) status:

PR: 234507 (BUG 19110446)

Cause:
Counter is not updated to 900 seconds (15 minutes interval) reporting the measurement as incomplete (I).

 

Solution

 This two issues are fixed on EAGLE R46.0 which is Generally Available (GA).
