Applies to:

Sun StorageTek SL8500 Modular Library System - Version All Versions and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In 8.35 code it was noticed that a "config ilc print" command displays the port as "down".  The state from config ilc print should show the physical state UP (connected) Down (not connected).

Changes

Firmware update to 8.35

Cause

There is a bug where we are showing down if the port is connected to SDP or some other device and not connected to another library.

Solution

In a library complex the displayed state should be correct.
