The drive was replaced after customer checked the airflow is not blocked to the drive. Still having the same issue!
The customer rebooted the library and it cleared the issue.
Symptoms
SL150 keeps claiming LTO6 drive runs too hot.
LTO-6hh FC: Drive indicating Maximum/Minimum temperature of 255

Cause
There is a code bug in the HP LTO6 half height code that randomly causes the drive to report a very high temperature and thus the library will shut the drive down to prevent heat damage.
Solution
This issue is resolved in HP LTO6 Firmware.
