Symptoms

ora.crf is the Cluster Health Monitor resource name that ohasd manages.

Issue “crsctl stat res –t –init” to check the current status of the Cluster Health Monitor.

The resource ora.crf is offline will be offline as in in the ouptut

Cause

The issue is due to <Bug 17443419> which is a Duplicate of <Bug 16429265>.

 

Solution


Please download and apply the patch 18011828 for your 11.2.0.3 Versions of GI.  For 11.2.0.4, this issue is fixed in GI PSU 11.2.0.4.3 and above.

 

NOTE:This issue is seen in the Exadata on Solaris and Supercluster environments
