VCF2 and VCF3 cards cannot be used to Direct Connect to a T10KD tape drive

T10KD tape drives will only work on a 4,8 or 16GB interface

The VCF2 and VCF3 cards run at 1 and 2 GB transfer rate

The VCF4 runs at 1,2 and 4GB transfer rate

If direct connecting from a VCF card to a T10KD tape drive, use a VCF4 card only

The VCF2/VCF3 will work through a switch to the T10KD that will negotiate down on the transfer rate

NOTE: VCF3 cards can be GFR'ed with VCF4 cards; VCF2 cards cannot
