4EA HP LTO6 FC Drives(FW upgraded from 22GS to 23DS)
Media Server: AIX 7.1, Windows 2008
Brocade Switch: Fabric OS 6.31a

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------------
From OP Panel, Shutdown library and push power button to power up library can online Changer/Drives normally.
But, from OP Panel choose Reboot library, Media servers can't see two Drives which installed in Base Module,
Other two drives installed in Expansion Module are okay.

Checked FC link from Switch, which shows the target Ports correctly.

Plug out and Plug in FC Cable not online Base Module Drives from Media Servers.

SL150 library logs clear, no link error logged.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
 Customer has concerns:
Problem Only with Base Module Drives, but no problem with Expansion Module Drives.
Problem Only with Reboot, but no problem with Shutdown and Power On.

Changes

 New installation of SL150.

Cause

Brocade FW(Fabric OS) issue(Doc ID 1533738.1).  Need to upgrade SAN Switch version to recommended version 6.4.2a, 7.0.0a and 6.3.2c.

Expansion Module Drives can be seen by Media Servers but not Base Module Drives. This is because a library reboot causes the KLE to reset and Expansion Module Drives Power to be reset, but the Base Module Power does not get reset so the Base Module Drives not powercycled.

Solution

Upgrade SAN Switch FW(Fabric OS) to 6.4.2a, 7.0.0a and 6.3.2c or above version.
