CauseUsually this happens when accidentally choosing the wrong connection type when prompted during the installation or reimage process A reimage is common after Switching between
SolutionRunning the script setupX4Network.pl on the X4-2 will allow you to change the network connection by choosing between a Fiber or Twisted-Pair / Copper Connection type: Note: the ODA will auto-detect if the connection is 10gbe or 1 gbe regardless of the media type chosen.
STEPS Run the following /opt/oracle/oak/lib/setupX4Network.pl
"Do you want to use Fiber or Copper cards for public network? Please Choose [C]opper or [F]iber."
Then your will see either of the following confirmations based on your choice
"User has chosen to configure Fiber cards for public network" - or - "User has chosen to configure Copper cards for public network" Attachments This solution has no attachment |
