T4-1B Motherboard (MB) was replaced due to voltage faults

Blade was reinserted into chassis

Symptoms

 From the CMM :

 

-> cd /CH/BL4
/CH/BL4

-> start SYS
The blade is powered off. Power on the blade before attempting a connection.

-> cd SP/cli
/CH/BL4/SP/cli

-> start
Are you sure you want to start /CH/BL4/SP/cli (y/n)? y
start: Can't use Single Sign On for /CH/BL4/SP/cli
start: Property /CH/BL4/SP/cli/user needs to be set in order to connect to the target
SP
start: Failed to start /CH/BL4/SP/cli


With the previous MB Single Sign-On worked fine

Description : A device necessary to support a configuration has failed.

 

Response : The service required LED on the chassis will be illuminated.

 

Impact : The chassis may be powered down.

procedures and policies regarding this diagnosis.


 



Changes

 MB in the blade was replaced

Cause

 Firmware on the new motherboard mismatch with that on the Service Processor, as we saw when we logged in via UCP port:-

Solution

 Connected to the blade's SP via serial connection on the UCP port where we then saw the error recommending FW update

 

Configured the SP network and flashed the firmware
