HP LTO6 Tape Drive - Version All Versions and later

New install and drive comes up as invalid.
Current level of ACSLS is 8.0.1.

Symptoms

HP LTO6 Tape Drive cannot be accessed through ACSLS.

Changes

New Installation.

Cause

Installed version of ACSLS does not support LTO6 drives.

Solution

Customer needs to install ACSLS 8.2 or higher.
Be aware of OS compatibility issues that may arise as you upgrade.
Refer to the ACSLS Product Information document for information on ACSLS system requirements and supported library devices.
