Symptoms

System powers down unexpectedly and shows SCSI Backplane temperature errors

Cause

The SCSI Backplane has failed.
 
The SCSI Backplane is showing temperature errors and all the disks show as failed.

Solution

If you encounter the errors described previously, you need to contact Oracle Support Services and open a service request.

 

A replacement of the failed SCSI Backplane is needed.
