Solution Type Problem Resolution Sure Solution 1910148.1 : Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance: Clone operation failed - SMB resource name already in use.
In this Document
Created from <SR 3-9210113641> Applies to:Sun Storage 7410 Unified Storage System - Version All Versions and laterSun Storage 7310 Unified Storage System - Version All Versions and later Sun Storage 7210 Unified Storage System - Version All Versions and later Sun Storage 7110 Unified Storage System - Version All Versions and later Sun ZFS Storage 7420 - Version All Versions and later 7000 Appliance OS (Fishworks) SymptomsThe clone operation failed because one or more of the shares' SMB resource names is already in use. Check that the replicated project and its shares are not currently shared via SMB.
CauseIt is caused by the resource name on the replicated SMB share being set to 'on'
Resource name: The name by which SMB clients refer to this share. The resource name "off" indicates no SMB client may access the share, and the resource name "on" indicates the share will be exported with the filesystem's name.
SolutionChange the resource name on the replicated SMB share from 'on' to 'off'. The clone operation will then succeed on the replicated share in target head.
