Cause

This alert is generic in nature which just indicates an unexpected system reboot because of kernel panic.

Solution

Make sure you are running one of the latest Appliance Firmware versions.

Please check whether this panic was generated as a result of NMI

This alert should have generated an ASR and Oracle Support Engineer will request the support bundle if needed for further analysis.

As this alert is generic in nature the Oracle Support Engineer will analyze the logs and provide you with the next course of action.

If the core size is bigger than the quota set or the available space, then the core file will not be saved.

Eg: You can use zfs set quota to increase the quota; i.e.:

node1# zfs get quota system/cores
node1# zfs set quota=150G system/cores
node1# zfs get quota system/cores
NAME          PROPERTY  VALUE  SOURCE
system/cores  quota     150G   local
----------
Then manually save the core dump :
#savecore -dv                                  (this saves it to the default /var/ak/core directory; to save it elsewhere you can use 'savecore -dv -D new_dump_directory')

Refer: Running savecore Manually From the Command Line (Doc ID 1017457.1)
