OKM = Oracle Key Manager

Symptoms

Cannot connect to the OKM GUI. Getting this error: "Connect failed. Error: Timeout"

Unable to logon to the KMA cluster 
Receiving Connect failed.  Error:  Timeout  

Changes

Cause

Power failure occurred or the server may have been manually powered off.
 

Solution

1. Logon to the ELOM (or ILOM)
2. Go to Remote Control -> Remote Power Control
3. If Host is off, select Power On action
4. If Host is currently on, verify if the OKM Console can be launched from the Remote Control -> Redirection tab
5. If host cannot be powered on or if the OKM Console cannot be launched from the ELOM (or ILOM ), open a service request in My Oracle Support.
    Attach an OKM system dump to the service request ticket.
