Symptoms

No image is displayed with new WebCam.

Changes

Replacing the D-Link camera with a new one from Panasonic Doc ID 1016790.1

Cause

Customer has an old Direct X version installed.

Solution

Check the version of DirectX as follows:

1. Select “Run...” from the start menu of Windows.

2. Enter “dxdiag” in the displayed dialog box and click the [OK] button.

If the version of DirectX is older than 9.0c, upgrade it.

Install the viewer software from the new WebCam Panasonic.
